I was juz thinking abt Sam's prob...they hv differing views on their future 2gether...
Like her bf wanna retire @ 30 and live on the rent tt he can collect frm his property, and hv chickens running ard in their backyard...he wanna stay in a rustic cottage in the countryside, 35 mins away frm the city, by car....
She, on the other hand, wanna work and hv enuf $ 2 come back 2 Sg 2 visit her family and frens...she thinks tt he lacks ambition and tt he doesn't noe wat he wants 2 do with his life...
It's more than tt actually....2 long 2 type it out...heh...
Is this an inherent prob betw couples? do couples hv 2 share the same vision 4 the future? coz they've been living 2gether and HE wants 2 marry her soon (they're both 22)...but she doesn't wanna b tied down @ such a young age...she has yet 2 finish her degree and find work...and she doesn't wanna retire @ 30 and hv chickens running ard n her house...she doesn't wanna live in a rustic cottage in the countryside so far away frm civilization....
She's now hving doubts abt their relationship and wanna find another guy 2 test whether she truly luvs her bf or not...
As i listened 2 her yest...i told her tt she can't open another door b4 the one in Perth is closed.... I wanted 2 tell her 2 pray abt the relationship...coz she's not sure whether he's the One 4 her...but they're both not Christians...
So u think it'll b easier 4 Christians 2 deal with s/thing like this? wld it b different if God was the centre of their relationship? not tt i think non-Christians do not hv fulfilling relationships...juz tt it comes so naturally 2 me now 2 say tt we shld go 2 God abt this and ask Him wat we shld do or whether tt guy or gal is the One He had chosen 4 us...
I'm confused...heh... =p
