My wound is much better now. All thanks to daddy! I showed him the pus and all and he just went to our corridor, where we place our plants, and plucked some leaves. Told me to crush them and apply the herb to the womb. Mum helped to bandage it. When I woke up in the morning to 'unwind' the bandage, I realized that the swelling went down and the wond was flat! I did the same thing last night as well and now my wound's pretty much dried up. Still sound quite gross lah, but it's really much better! Shall have Doc Ngiam look at it again Hehe....

Went for a meeting yesterday at Pico. They're going through some restructuring and the objective of the meeting was to inform who's going to which department. There'll be 2 exhibition departments and 1 events department and.. yours truly has been allocated as the main admin person for the events department!! I was shocked!
Was really swamped in papers yesterday from the 2 departments I'm helping out with and have totally decided that admin is really not for me. I mean, I really admire people like Lydia and my direct supervisor, Lily, for their eye for detail and their patience. Really amazing! I'm really not agaimst people who do admin but it's really not what I want to do! HR has already told me that if I like the working environment here, I can continue to work here permanently but I didn't expect them to throw me into administration!!!!
My mood was totally ruined after the meeting and found no motivation to go to work at all. Called Moo up to whine and complain (as usual). Sigh.. I really don't understand why they can't put me as Account Exec instead of admin! I asked this girl in EMS who's doing admin now and will be promoted to do sales after the restructuring whether it's a phase that one has to go through before they will release us to service accounts. She said 'sort of'. But when i asked the Account Execs over at SPD, they told me not to waste my time doing admin or sales at Pico. Apparently, I'll have better prospects at other event companies.
(It's quite strange that they kept raving about my degree...... They kept telling me that a degree holder like me shouldn't be doing admin...)
Think I'll go talk to my GM on Monday.

And continue to scout around for jobs... Sigh.. I was so looking forward to working here! I thought my job hunt's over.. But apparently not.. =P
