Hey! i'm back!

Woah! it had been a really gd trip! God showed His faithfulness and opened our eyes 2 a lot of things...like how we can plan and plan but God has other plans 4 us....watever we hv planned 2 do earlier didn't really wk out lah...heh...

The 1st obstacle came when we almost cldn't bring the carton of multivitamins in2 Thailand....the Thai immigration even got a guy frm the pharmacy 2 check the pills....the only relented when Trish told us 2 show them our Laos visa...

The 12 hr train rides r really smthg....thank God 4 P. Ching Wah and Trish! they managed 2 get the train tix 4 us eventho it was so last min and 5th Dec's actually the Thai King's bday....
anyway....yah....12 hrs on the train is an experience... =)

We did a lot of stuff with the kids there....spent the most time with the kids living near ARDA...played with them...spent some time with the kids @ Khoutsambaht village - teaching them English and crafts...
Feel like ta-pao-ing them back 2 Sg... =) They're so cute and friendly! their smiles...their expectant faces....their innocence... really makes me think how bratty and disgusting Sg kids r....sigh...

Our aim was 2 b a blessing 2 the kids and 2 the pple there....we achieved it and more....
u noe when pple come back frm mission (gotta say fei bi bi in Laos... =p) trips and tell u how they've been more blessed by the pple there than they hv been a blessing?...nv knew wat it meant until i come back frm Laos and tell pple how we've been blessed by the Lao pple.... and how we've been blessed by God...
We're merely vessels 4 God 2 use and He used us 2 show His love 4 His children in Laos....and he has also used them 2 bless us.... we've been so blessed by the villagers at Ban Khoutsambaht (who LUV dancing!!!), by the street kids, by the lovely warm pple in Vientiane...

Am also amazed by how God is truely a God of ALL languages....we saw pple worshipping Him in Lao and Chinese when we attended 2 Lao services and a Chinese cell grp.... mind-blowing!!! we're worshipping and praising and serving the same God at the same time in our own language! Amazing!!

I'm really captured by God's majesty and faithfulness and might....how He can work even in a closed communist ctry like Laos.... =)

We had fun doing wat God has called us 2 do.... =) the weather's great! the pple r great! Love Laos is great! thnx guys 4 making my 1st mission trip such a memorable one! thnx 4 all the bridge and tai ti sessions...haha....
