No time! No time!

Taking a breather from work to check my mail and to stop by to update. Things are heating up on site. 6 more days to the start of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meeting 2006 and everyone's in a mad rush to finish up last minute construction, deoration, landscaping (that'll be yours truly)......

Was even working on Saturday and Sunday (which was yesterday.. Duh) till 7.30, 8pm. First time in my life! If I were to be part of Pico permanently, then this will be part of the package. Sigh.

Grandma, the one who just lost her husband 2 months ago (it's been 2 months already?!) came over on Saturday to stay. Didn't have much time to spend with her coz of work. Didn't have to go for service and cell yesterday coz of work. Didn't have time to meet up with Secondary school friends ocz of work. Didn't have time.... Ok, you get the drift.

Busy-ness is good. At least mum and dad's not complaining coz I'm working. At least I'm finally able to make repayments to my dad's CPF. At least I'm doing something not too mundane. =)

An offer just came up last Friday. Quite timely I suppose. Pretty divine from what I was told and exciting to hear what's in store. Still praying about it. Somehow I seem quite unsettled coz of commitments to the family as well as my carnal desire for material things. Feeling a lack of satisfaction and a sense of discontentment that I am at this phase at the ripe old age of 26, turning 27 in 9 months.
I mean, if God's purpose for me is so, I'll obey. I guess I just need to learn how to be satisfied in Him.

I've been thinking about Grandpa lots these days.

Alright. Gotta run to check up on my plants and flowers now (how interesting... =P)!
