The IMF/World Bank Annual Meeting 2006 officially starts in 8 hours' time.
And eventhough my graveyard shift starts only at 10pm (yes, our site office is open 24/7 during the meeting), my phone hasn't stopped ringing since 10am this morning! Requests from everywhere to add plants, remove plants that were requested, requesting plants that were removed, reducing the size of landscapes which were done a week ago, additional landscapes requested by some from the organizing committee and rejected by others, security clearances, vehicle clearances, missing passes, changes in security procedures, etc etc etc. Last minute requests before the delegates officially come to Suntec. I heard that daily meetings start as early as 7am! Siow!
Have the time to update bloggie because I've got nothing to do till 6am. I've promised Elaine not to snore too loudly. Haha!
Things I missed during this crazy period:
1) Spending time with God
2) Going to church
3) Going out with Moo
4) Having lunch with my colleagues-turned-friends, Irene, Jojo and Sandra
5) Having coffee and cake with Vic and Ange
6) Having farewell dinner with Sarah Ho
7) Spending time talking to Grandma
8) Hanging out with my cousins (Let's go to Romano's soon ok? =))
9) Meeting up with Deon and family, and having conversations with Feon
10) Going for dance training (Actually, I miss the hip-hop classes!)
11) Chilling out with Alisa and Saion
12) Catching up with secondary school friends
Sad case!
It hasn't been a bed of roses. But I'm surviving. =)
Thanks for your prayers and SMSes which are so divinely appointed! So timely! It's amazing how people just "happen to" be thinking about you and just "happen to" send you a text which brightens your day! Thank you!
Love you and miss you guys so much! Hopefully I get my life back after this event! =)
