update

So many things have happened and I'm too lazy to write. =P

Last Wednesday till Friday was spent helping my God-bro paint his house. The kids' room is now orange and pink, with a bit of lime green to add some contrast, because Feon and Reon like Pooh and Piglet. The master bedroom's lilac and pink, which reminds us of a baby's room. The living room's painted my favourite colour - lime green! =) My arms and legs were really aching but it was really satisfying to see their faces!

The lil ones in their new room

Saturday was Su-lene's surprise birthday at HV Crystal Jade. =) After which was supper with Chris, Abi, Shannon, Josh and Boon at Al-Ameen. Seriously sinful!

Sunday was fun! Luncheon at BK with 1/2 of my cell. It was quite nice talking to Carmen and Irwin actually. Ice-cream later with Lisa and Boon at Gelare's.

Later, Thanksgiving cum farwell steamboast and lo hei at Izzy's! Mummy Chia and "Boss" prepared a spread for us! We had different types of fish, scallops, prawns, lots of vege, golden mushrooms, crabsticks, glass noodles, egg noodles, fishballs and bird balls (eggs lah)! Even with SK, Josco, Aman and myself, we barely finished 1/4 of what was laid out for us! And sweet Izzy made dessert for us! Peaches, grapes and strawberries dipped in dark chocoloate and drizzled with white chocolate. Yum!! Salmon Yu Sheng from Hooked On Heads was really yummy too! Another sinful day! For more info, please refer to Chris' blog. =)

Monday's relationship talk was quite good, though The Most Honourable Mrs Durai pointed out that a lot of essential points on dating and marriage were not discussed. This ended with yet another round of supper and drinks at Clementi.

Chrissy left on Tuesday. We made him a collage and wrote lil notes which were pinned onto the other side of the board because someone brilliantly pasted the photoson the wrong side. =P Aunty Julia told me to keep the faith in my job search, which was really sweet of her. =)

Was in JB with my God-bro before I went to the airport to send Chris off. Thank God for Dunkin' Donuts! If they hadn't made me so happy, I would have blown their heads off! No offense to Malaysians k? I'm just ranting.

So me God-bro was taking a smoke before we make our way up to the immigration counters on our way back to Sg. He then threw the cigarette butt on the floor. A Malaysian policeman then approached him and asked for his I/C. He was broght into a room and told that he was littering and the fine was RM250. God-bro said that he was in a rush and that he didn't have that much money with him. The officer hesitated and asked how much he has. God-bro said he has about RM20 and he needs some money to go home as well. Officer then pointed to a basket under the table and told God-bro to put his RM20 there. I was UTTERLY DISGUSTED!! I was fuming mad but God-bro told me that they had to resort to corruption because they're not paid enough. I mean, if the government's not going to respect their "law-enforcers" enough to pay them more than a meagre wage, then no one is going to respect them as keepers of the law!

This aside, we went up to the immigration counters. I happen to receive a call then and I picked it up. The immigration officer told me to end the call and show some respect. So I did and I asked, "Show respect to what?" He was so worked up and told me that I'm not showing them respect by talking on the phone in front of them. What???? I rolled my eyes so vigorously I thought my eyeballs were gonna fall out! The one thing that was keeping me from retaliating and making sarcastic remarks which he'll probably not understand is the Dunkin' Donuts in my stomach. I don't need to take this s*** since I'm contributing to your GDP! What atrocity!

*Deep breaths*
