Why am I not surprised? =)

Henderson

Met up with the Henderson girls last week for the first time in a long long time. It was so good because we missed them so much! They seem well and there were no scars on their wrists! Which is really good news! =)
These girls were down for counseling with Lilian and myself for self-harm. It's been about 2 years since we met them for counseling and it's really encouraging to see that they have been good. They all Sec. 4s now!! I feel really old lah..

Anyway, we had lunch and we talked for a while. Promised Shin and I will visit them soon. =)

Other highlights....

The dedication service for Christ sanctuary was really cool! They had the whole procession consecrating the new sanctuary and blessing the furniture and the unveiling of the plaque, which is actually a huge rock. I truly understand why Ringo insists that we don't play secular music in Bethel. Places of worship in church have really been consecrated, set apart for the praise and worship of God and worshippers should not profane Him and His holiness by playing or singing songs that are not of God or from God in the Holy of Holies.

Anyway, I cut and dyed my hair! Nice nice! =) Thanks to my 'stylist', Moo!
Bought a new skirt from JB! Pretty pretty! =)
In my 2nd/3rd week volunteering at YWAM (Youth With A Mission) for Go Fest Asia 2006. =) I really like the environment there but having to travel all the way to Aljunied everyday is a hassle and sometimes puts me off. Nevertheless, it's an exciting project!

Ah yes.. Watch Geisha! Great great show! What got me was when Chiyo went to the mountain and threw the hanky and newspaper clipping away, and then came full circle with the Chairman. Wah.. That's it man! It's so so hard to let go, but when she did, it was sweet for her in the end.

I'm halfway through spring-cleaning my room and totally lagging behind in my bible reading plan. Hands up, those of you who are with me! =P

Can't wait for CNY! Tong tong tong qiang! Tong tong tong qiang!
