AARRGGHH!!!!!!! He is absolutely driving me crazy!

Fren frm Myanmar came down yest.. actually he's not really a fren fren.. just a fren.. not the same status as Joey or Terence.. Name's Nyun Tun..

He just dropped the bomb on me saying that he's coming down on Wed and asked me 2 go pick him up at the airport.. so free ah..

actually he's been whining abt coming down to Sg to look for work.. but always complaining that he has no money..
dunno how he got money for visa and an air ticket to come here in the end..

anyway.. he's always asking me questions abt Christianity and abt Jesus.. BUT his English is terrible.. so i dunno what he's talking abt 1/2 the time..
Already told him 2 ask the teachers at VCF (the church we attended when we were in Yangon).. coz they speak Burmese rite?.. but nnooo... he has 2 ask me ALL the time and he doesn't phrase the questions properly...

Basically.. Christianity is very simple rite..
1) God created the world.
2) Adam and Eve fell into sin
3) Sin impedes relationship with God
4) God loves the world so much He sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins
5) And when we acknowledge that,
6) we live happily ever after!

okie okie...maybe it's a teeny weeny more complex than that.. but that's all he needs 2 know what.. sigh..

This guy is PERSISTENT!!! he started calling ard 8 last nite.. continuously! at 10-sec intervals!! he just doesn't get it when i dun answer his calls!
when he called the 1st time, i picked up and recognized his voice. his background was noisy so he cldn't really hear me. i took the opportunity to put the phone down on him.. subsequently he kept calling and calling and calling and calling!! he just doesn't give up!!!
OH MAN!!!

and he called again this morning at 8am!!!! also at 10-sec intervals!!! i rejected his calls umpteen times!!! and he still doesn't get it!!!
ARGH!!!

Was worried that he didn't hv a place 2 stay.. but he's NOT gonna stay at my place..
i mean.. no one's gonna be so stupid as to bk a ticket and come here w/o making arrangements for accommodation and all that rite? Sigh.. he can't expect to stay at my place when he just dropped the bombshell on me 2 days b4 he's due 2 arrive!!

He has my address (hv been writing letters.. he better not come look 4 me.. he'll totally get it frm my parents.. hahahahahahahaha..

I noe they took care of us when we were in Yangon and all.. but he's just super annoying!! his voice is so nasal and annoying.. he's just... ANNOYING!!
I mean.. if Joey or Terence or Bhai were 2 come down, i'll gladly bring them ard and all.. but this one.. NO WAY HOSAY!

No offence.. Just a fleeting thot that came to mind.. =)

My colleague and I were talking about how many Christians we have in the office... She attends Adam Rd Presbyterian Church and hv been a Christian as long as I have.. =)

We could only name maybe 3 Christians and 2 Catholics..

Wanted to start a cell in the office but don't know how to go about doing it..

1 question popped to mind..
You know all these non-Christians who have names which appear in the bible - like David, Paul, Ruth, Esther, etc.. Do they really know what their names mean and how these people have been used by God in mighty ways?

It's been such a long time since i hv posted anything here.. well.. been 2 lazy 2 do it.. heh..
seriously, it can b such a hassle.. =P

Update

1) After 4 long months of job-hunting, i finally landed a temp admin asst job at Starhub..

2) I juz got rejected by Singapore Prisons (again!), S'pore National Eye Center (for a temp call centre position!?!), Heartware Network (boy, was the guy hard on me during the interview!), and a whole load of companies who did bother 2 send me rejection letters!

3) Annoying fren still managed 2 annoy me eventho she's miles away frm S'pore!! ARGH!!! I'm going CRAZY!!!!!!!!!
But Daddy God reminded me of the passage in 1 Corin 13.. the passage on love.. sigh.. it's really tough being patient and kind and slow 2 anger when one is dealing with a fren such as THIS!

4) Mum gave me $$ 2 buy new clothes 4 wk! =) Eventho i'm only a temp, i gotta wear work clothes frm Mon - Thu, and casual wear on Fri...

5) Think my cell boys r testing my patience 2.. =P Makes me think twice abt hving kids..exp sons.. my gals r fine.. but my boys r so hyper! i noe it's typical of kids their age but hving co-led an older gals' cell, it needs getting used 2 leading a younger mixed cell.. Sigh..
Pls pray 4 divine guidance.. =)

But all in all, I wanna thank Dad 4 being so faithful.. even in times when i dun do my QT, He still yearns 2 speak 2 me.. and so 4 giving me this job.. at least i dun hv stay at hm n feel really useless.. coz now i can feel useless at the office.. =P

6) Cute guy in the office.. but think he's married coz he's got a print out pinned at his cubicle tt says " Happy Father's Day".. And guess wat.. he's Myanmar! Juz saw his name on the nameplate at his cubicle and realized tt he has a Myanmar name! hah..

Okie.. better end here.. not 2 sure how many of my frens still read this blog.. heh... but anyway.. yah.. not much 2 do at wk mah.. so blog lor.. =)
