Have been helping grandma pack.. sigh.. they're moving back to Thomson after < 1 year in Yio Chu Kang... Grand-dad wants 2 die in Thomson - where thy'vebeen living for the past 50 years or so...

Man...my grandma has stuff from eons ago... she still has the tumbler she used when I was a tiny (yes..i was tiny b4..) babe.. haha..Moo wld noe.. =P
Grandma told him my lifestory in the 2 hours or so that we were at the hospital visiting grand-dad..hehe..
And the bedsheets my cousin Shin Hui (who's 17 btw) used to bring to playgroup..like many many yrs ago..

She's got like knicks and knacks from yester-year tt she's unwilling to throw out coz they're pretty.. *slaps head*
And tons of clothes that i've nv seen her in...
And the same make-up stuff that I used to play dress-up in when I was a child... and I'm 25!!

There're also countless of plastic bottles - mineral water bottles, drink bottles, medicine bottles in the kitchen... 1 for every occasion - when she doesn't need 2 much water, when her handbag's 2 small, when she's really thirsty, when she's feeling cute... sigh...

But I did enjoy dinner with my grandparents... simple fare of satay and durians.. hehe...
Grand-dad seems really happi that we got durians.. he loves them... says they make him move his bowels more often... Opps!! 2 much information....
I really enjoy speaking they language.. it's a different kind of Cantonese.. frm a different part of Guangdong (DUH!).. a language that grand-dad insists on speaking to the grandchildren..
it's a beautiful language... which will prob die out after we have our own families... SAD...

It was a strange feeling... we're not very close to grand-dad but it was heart-breaking to hear tt grand-dad wanted to pass on in the house they've been living in most of their lives..
I have thot abt it.. I thot i'll be sadder when grandma dies... i guess i can't bear to have grand-dad leave us as well...

DAD was truly faithful! He had shown me the parable of the prodigal son when i was praying for him and i believed that he will return home safely.

Went 2 watch Initial D with 2 of my Henderson gals and ShinE.. it's a really gd show.. lotsa eye candy for the gals and cool racing stunts.. =) gd stuff!

1 downside tho... Jay Chou can't act.. surprise surprise.. =P but overall it's pretty gd.. go catch it if u haven't.. i dun mind watching it again.. *big smiles*

AARRGGHH!!!!!!! He is absolutely driving me crazy!

Fren frm Myanmar came down yest.. actually he's not really a fren fren.. just a fren.. not the same status as Joey or Terence.. Name's Nyun Tun..

He just dropped the bomb on me saying that he's coming down on Wed and asked me 2 go pick him up at the airport.. so free ah..

actually he's been whining abt coming down to Sg to look for work.. but always complaining that he has no money..
dunno how he got money for visa and an air ticket to come here in the end..

anyway.. he's always asking me questions abt Christianity and abt Jesus.. BUT his English is terrible.. so i dunno what he's talking abt 1/2 the time..
Already told him 2 ask the teachers at VCF (the church we attended when we were in Yangon).. coz they speak Burmese rite?.. but nnooo... he has 2 ask me ALL the time and he doesn't phrase the questions properly...

Basically.. Christianity is very simple rite..
1) God created the world.
2) Adam and Eve fell into sin
3) Sin impedes relationship with God
4) God loves the world so much He sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins
5) And when we acknowledge that,
6) we live happily ever after!

okie okie...maybe it's a teeny weeny more complex than that.. but that's all he needs 2 know what.. sigh..

This guy is PERSISTENT!!! he started calling ard 8 last nite.. continuously! at 10-sec intervals!! he just doesn't get it when i dun answer his calls!
when he called the 1st time, i picked up and recognized his voice. his background was noisy so he cldn't really hear me. i took the opportunity to put the phone down on him.. subsequently he kept calling and calling and calling and calling!! he just doesn't give up!!!
OH MAN!!!

and he called again this morning at 8am!!!! also at 10-sec intervals!!! i rejected his calls umpteen times!!! and he still doesn't get it!!!
ARGH!!!

Was worried that he didn't hv a place 2 stay.. but he's NOT gonna stay at my place..
i mean.. no one's gonna be so stupid as to bk a ticket and come here w/o making arrangements for accommodation and all that rite? Sigh.. he can't expect to stay at my place when he just dropped the bombshell on me 2 days b4 he's due 2 arrive!!

He has my address (hv been writing letters.. he better not come look 4 me.. he'll totally get it frm my parents.. hahahahahahahaha..

I noe they took care of us when we were in Yangon and all.. but he's just super annoying!! his voice is so nasal and annoying.. he's just... ANNOYING!!
I mean.. if Joey or Terence or Bhai were 2 come down, i'll gladly bring them ard and all.. but this one.. NO WAY HOSAY!
